Today, October 5th, is the 50th anniversary of the world seeing Ursula Andress walk out of the ocean in a bikini for the first time, which is to say that it’s the 50th anniversary of the first James Bond film, Dr. No. The first martini’s on us, 007, then you can buy the rest. We, um, forgot our wallet. [It's a vodka martini! A martini has gin, dammit! -Vince]
To celebrate the occasion, a swell documentary was made by Epix. It’s called Everything or Nothing, and it focuses on the three men who brought James Bond to the screen: producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and Bond author Ian Fleming.
Last night, Vanity Fair and Epix teamed up for a screening of Everything or Nothing (which airs on Epix tomorrow night at 8 p.m.), and UPROXX was there for the red carpet premiere to ask questions to famous people about their favorite Bond film and, more importantly, their favorite Bond Girl (Claudine Auger or GTFO). Yes, Kate Upton was there, and yes, she’s pretty and nice in real life, and no, I didn’t give her your number. Sorry.

Robert Davi (Franz Sanchez from License to Kill)
Chris Noth (Sex and the City, The Good Wife)
Let’s say you were cast in the next Bond film, which they’ve decided to give an American spin, for some reason. Would you rather play Bond or a Bond villain?
Probably Bond. I’d have to get in really great shape.
Monika Chiang (designer)
If you were picked to style the next Bond Girl, what would she look like?
I’d definitely have some kind of sexy one-piece cut-out, some kind of strappy thing, really slinky. Showing lots of leg. Maybe an asymmetrical dress.
On behalf of men everywhere, thank you.
Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl)
What was the first Bond Girl image you remember from growing up?
It was that Life cover with Shirley Eaton on it. She was painted in gold.
Fisher Stevens (Lost, Early Edition, Short Circuit)
Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)
Robert Buckley (666 Park Avenue) and Jena Sims (Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader)
Vince’s Note: Rob Buckley and I lived in the same dorm at UCSD. I’d like to think it was my chiseled features and way with the ladies that first inspired him to become a heartthrob.

/stutters out, “So, um, you like…stuff?” for five minutes, then…
Who was your first favorite Bond Girl?
Halle Berry, of course.
Is there a certain style of a Bond Girl that appeals to you?
I think the sexy, a little bit hardcore, rough-style is really cool.
Is that how you’d play the role if you were cast in the next movie?
For sure. *laughs*
What’s your favorite Bond movie?
I liked when Pierce Brosnan was James Bond because I love him as an actor, so I really enjoyed those movies.
What about his films makes him your favorite?
He’s a good actor. He’s a good looking guy. *laughs* He played it well.
