‘Happy Gilmore’ Has Finally Received The 8-Bit Video Game Treatment

Our friends at CineFix have done it again, taking one of our favorite classic movies from the 1990s and turned it into a fake 8-bit video game clip that will make me whine, as always, that it’s not an actual game. This time they’ve taken the Adam Sandler golf comedy Happy Gilmore, which probably would have made a terrible adventure game, unless there was a scene in which you had to battle a crazy, slutty grandma wearing a KISS mask. Also, I’d expect there to be an escape scene in the old folks home, and completing the level requires you to drop an AC unit on an old woman.

Alas, neither of those parts were addressed in this video, but it still looks like it would have made for a far better 8-bit golf game than Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge.
