Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Are Teaming Up Again For ‘The Nest’

If you’re going by Rotten Tomatoes scores and probably even general consensus, the 2008 comedy Baby Mama wasn’t exactly the best effort that we could have imagined from two beloved comedy icons like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler [Baby Mama rules! -Ed]. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that we’ve loved them as the co-hosts of the Golden Globes for the past two years, and with 30 Rock off the air, plenty of people are simply desperate to have anything Fey-related in their lives, especially if it involves Poehler. Enter: The Nest, which will star Fey and Poehler as two sisters who are reunited when they learn that their parents’ home is for sale. Hijinks!

Written by former Saturday Night Live head writer and 30 Rock actress Paula Pell, The Nest will be directed by Pitch Perfect’s Jason Moore and produced by Universal, along with Fey’s Little Stranger company and Jay Roach’s Everyman Pictures. According to Deadline, the two “30-something” sisters will spend their time together “bonding and feuding and finally growing up,” which sounds like it might draw some “Step Brothers but with girls!”-type comparisons, which is fine by me if true. As they’ve proven (almost every) time and again, these women are wonderful individually, but they’re way better together.

Don’t believe me? Here’s a bunch of funny stuff you can spend the next 20 minutes watching!
