A Brief History Of Video Games Fuels Nostalgia Using Only Sounds, Music, And Video

Here’s a fun and nostalgia-fueled new YouTube compilation from Polygon that’s currently making the viral rounds. I couldn’t help but give a watch because the nineteen year-old version of me really wants to blow off Tuesday for Hot Pockets and an “Ocarina of Time” marathon.

I’ve identified the 1:45 mark as the exact moment when I become old and useless and have no clue what’s going on and keep wondering why I wasn’t better at the original “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” on Nintendo. Kind of depressing and I encourage you to depress yourself doing the same. Oh well, I’ll always have “Shoryuken!” and a uncanny knowledge of proximity mines. Talk about late 90′s pwnage.
