Tony Quan (graffiti writer, publisher, and activist) was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in 2003, and is now almost completely paralyzed, despite having full mental faculties. Enter the Not Impossible Foundation and their new Eyewriter project. They programmed custom, open-source freeware that can track eye movements, allowing Quan and others to write and even draw using only an eye, a computer, free software, and about $50 in parts (including a modified PlayStation Eye).
“That was the first time I’ve drawn anything since 2003! It feels like taking a breath after being held underwater for 5 minutes.” – Tony Quan aka Tempt One
The video below is totally inspiring me. I’m going to build one of these so I can write Robert Downey Jr slash fiction while illustrating it with my eyes. It’s Not Impossible, and if I don’t do it, who will?

He drew boobs, right?
Burnsy – He drew his tagname. Probably followed by “wants to see some boobs.”
Very cool.
I would have bet you anything that he would have written, “Could someone please, for the love of God, scratch my fucking balls!?!?”.
Its incredible to me that they were able to accomplish that so cost-effectively!
Nothing like a cunt like ALICE34 using an inspirational, kickass story to spam in the comments. Fuck you in the ass, you fucking dicknugget!
@jhc4show he’s paralyzed, he can’t feel his balls.
