E Online is reporting that Joss Whedon and Morgan Spurlock will be teaming up to document a group of “superfans” headed to Comic-Con. (We’re assuming San Diego and not one of the Wizard Comic-Cons that seem to be popping up every day or so.)
Now, this isn’t confirmed, but E’s citing an insider source that says it’ll be following a group of yet-to-be-cast costumed fans before and at the con. Well, if you’re looking for someone to pull costumed fans out of the woodwork and appear in a documentary (although I’ve never seen a shy costumer), there’s no bigger geek-draw than Whedon. So if you’re putting the finishing touches on your bat’leth or Navi costume, you might want to try to give Whedon a call. Good luck!

Boy, Morgan Spurlock doesn’t look good when he shaves.
