The Upper Playground Gallery in LA is doing an exhibition tonight of Inglourious Basterds fan-made posters. Giclée prints of each poster will be signed by Quentin Tarantino and sold for $300 apiece, with all profits going to Haiti (via the American Red Cross). That’s right, you can own a poster of a Nazi getting curbstomped, signed by Quentin Tarantino. That’s so wrong I want to be a cosigner on its subprime loan and let it destroy my credit.
They’re only printing six prints of each poster. Here’s a full round-up of the artists involved (picture gallery to follow): David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee, Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza, Morning Breath, and Skinner Davis. Some of those links might have something NSFW on them, but it’s art damn it. Bosses just don’t understand. I look at xtube for the articles! (Are there articles?)
