He is the terror that flaps in the night, the wrong number that wakes you at 3 am, the batteries that are not included, the surprise in your cereal box, the bubble gum that sticks in your hair, the blogger who is out of quotes here. And now the Saturday morning cartoon hero from the 90′s is coming back in comic books. ComicsAlliance reports that Boom! Studios editor Ian Brill will be writing a four-issue miniseries with illustrator James Silvani. It comes out in June. As a ComicsAlliance commenter pointed out, the hand cutting the rope in the pending cover art above looks like Goofy. We should have known Goofy was up to something. Telling people he’s a cow when cows are girls and don’t look like that. We’re on to you, Goofy. First you bang Mickey’s wife, now you’re going after Darkwing Duck? Garsh.
Anyway, that picture above isn’t the final art, so maybe they’re still deciding what direction to take with the story. Here’s what I’d like to see:

Awwwww yeah. You know who’s really excited about this?

He’s so excited he’s dialing the phone to tell all his friends about this. Yeah.

Goofy is a dig, not a cow. Clarabelle was the cow. She was Goofy’s Big Ethel. Goofy was originally known as Dippy Dawg.
Why the fuck do I know these things?
Darkwing Duck sits on his hand until it falls asleep and then says, “Let’s get strangerous.”
ZOMG! If only the flood of ’93 hadn’t claimed my original 4 issue miniseries of Darkwing Duck! :*(
I say that’s Negaduck not Goofy
I was always afraid to say Negaduck in certain company.
yeah, i was also gonna point out that goofy is a dog. remember in “stand by me”? one of the kids brings up pluto being a dog and trying to figure out what goofy is. or why goofy stands and talks while pluto walks on all fours and is mute.
Wasn’t that show on weekdays during the Disney Afternoon block and not on Saturday mornings?
