REGEN IS EXPLODEY AND PLOTLESS

If you didn’t get enough futuristic vehicle crashing action from that Tron Legacy trailer, here’s the sci-fi short Regen, a mix of live-action and CGI directed by Michael Chaves with music by Peter Seibert.  I have no idea what’s going on, but physics-defying wrecking ball arms are cool like snakes.

TheAwesomer describes this as “Death Race, Resident Evil and Minority Report with just the barest semblance of a plot.”  That’s how I like my short films.  Throw an evil talking bunny and some Clint Mansell music in there, and it’s a perfect film.  Or an acid flashback.  I confuse these things sometimes.
