Observatory Turned Into R2-D2

Pranksters at Carleton College in Minnesota turned their Goodsell Observatory into a giant R2-D2 (more pics and a video below).  It even makes the R2-D2 sounds (all of which translate into swearwords in robot language, I’ll bet).  And although MIT did something similar to their Great Dome eleven years ago, I like the Carleton prank better.  It makes the R2-D2 noises, and I am very easily amused.

All the modifications made were designed not to damage the building or interfere with its function.  Yo, dawg, I heard you like stars, so now you can look at stars in a Star Wars character while you eat chicken and stars soup with Star Jones (she works for soup now).
