You may remember a month or so back that we covered the tribute to a respected Chinese general, Guan Yu, made out of one of the People’s surplus army trucks.
Well, the Chinese are at it again, as you can see, this time with a forty-foot tall Optimus Prime made out of a bunch of spare car and truck parts, built in China’s new eco theme park, Green Dream
Yes, we said forty feet tall. Why? Apparently the idea is to help visitors think of ways they can go green and help the environment. We guess the gigantic Optimus Prime is to be a monument to recycling. We suspect, however, the Japanese will take it as a personal challenge, and start building 120-foot Gundam statues entirely out of empty beer cans.
