Not since the Superman II wedding reception have I seen wedding-based nerditry of this magnitude. Sharon Vaughn (Wonder Woman) and Neil Vaughn (the Batman) of Devon, England had a cosplay wedding. Even the guests and wedding party came in costume:
[The] best man was Robin while The Joker was master of ceremonies with the Powerpuff girls as bridesmaids. Among the guests in Paignton, Devon, were Superman, the Incredibles, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk and Captain America. Neil said: “We’re not particularly traditional, and we wanted to have a fun day with our friends.” [TheSun]
They spent about $287 (£180) on his costume and $159 (£100) on hers. Sharon told the DailyMail, “Our wedding was absolutely amazing and it cost us less than some couples would spend on just the dress.” And unlike the dress, these costumes can be used over and over again. I mean, when wouldn’t it be a good time to dress as Batman or Wonder Woman? *adjusts tiara*

I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may take a hit from your asthma inhaler and kiss the bride
I can honestly say this for the first time in my life.
*ahem* No amount of booze could get me drunk enough to have sex with any of the Bridesmaids.
Yeah JHC I noticed those beefy Superwomen and immediately dressed as Kryptonite, or a giant piece of broccoli on a treadmill
Those college kids who have quidditch matches are all much cooler than this bunch.
This is still pretty tame compared to a gay wedding
Since when are Yoda and Danger Mouse superheroes?
And somebody needs to kick that Power Ranger’s ass.
Yeah I thought it was The powerpuff girls, not the powerpuff heffers.
