Hey remember that X-Men Origins: Magneto movie that’s been pretty much canceled, but no one will come out and say it? Well, they’re still not officially saying it, but apparently a lot of it got folded into the other upcoming X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class. Because if there’s one thing X-Men movies need, it’s more subplots.
As Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of the X-Men movie franchise told Latino Review:
Q: Is there still any heat on Magneto?
Lauren Shuler Donner: No. You know, there’s internal discussions but probably not. It kind of got incorporated into this one, a lot of it.
Q: Things from the Goyer script are in First Class?
Lauren Shuler Donner: Magneto history. Stuff from the Marvel/Magneto history.
And considering that X-Men Origins: Magneto was nothing but” Magneto history,” who knows how much of that movie just got dumped into First Class? It’s a pretty good bet it’s too much.

How do these people not know that all of their ideas and their process is complete garbage? How?
