
Yet again one of my personal opinions on a subject is dwarfed in sheer comparison to another’s awesome achievements. Despite my own opinion of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops one thing is certain, this thing is bushwhacking a trail all the way to the moon. With over 5 million units sold, once you begin to do the math and move the decimals you’ll realize that we’re talking about some serious bucks here. We’re talkling serious “I could start a small war between two countries” bucks.

Call of Duty has become the first entertainment property in history to set five-day launch records for two consecutive years across all forms of entertainment,” said Robert Kotick, CEO, Activision Blizzard.
According to Microsoft:
-More than 5.9 million multiplayer hours were logged playing Call of Duty: Black Ops by end of launch day, November 9.
-More than 2.6 million unique gamers played Call of Duty: Black Ops in one day on November 9.
