Want To Meet The Latest Robot That’ll Kill Us All?

Daaaawwww, he’s so cute! Who’s the cuddliest little robot with a flamethrower! Yes you are! Awwww, let meAAAAAGH IT BURNS!

While I’m getting a skin graft, let’s talk about the adorably deadly little guy up there. His name is Kunstrasen, and he was designed and built by Sebastian Nietsch for, if the one image we have of the end result is any indication, graffiti. Kunstrasen is designed to torch images into grass; Nietsch uploads vector art, and the little guy goes to work burning it into your carefully maintained lawn, presumably making a mischievous chuckle while he does so. Of course, eventually he’ll scale up and torch entire forests, or suburban developments, or elementary schools, but for now, he’s the most adorable little robocriminal ever.
