Everybody!
OK, not everybody, just everybody who actually cares about net neutrality. This is because everybody involved decided to freak out instead of read the actual rules. Which are…
Oh, wait, nobody actually knows, because the 80 pages of rules haven’t been released to the public yet. This hasn’t stopped anybody from whining about them, of course, and whining about them at length.
To sum up all the whining: all of the net neutrality crowd are complaining because the people who actually own the pipes can do a few things with them that will let them raise revenue to keep the Internet working, while the people who own the pipes are complaining that the FCC isn’t letting them charge you a $50 surcharge a month to use Netflix.
In other words, it’s people getting all twitterpated for no good reason. We can’t wait for the rules to hit, and the whining to hit critical mass.

I don’t see it as whining. It falls into two issues here….
1)Censorship of content on the web. (Brittian earlier this week passed a law involving porn on the internet to the same effect)
2)Consumer cost – I pay Comcrap (Comcast) more than I should right now. I highly doubt that across all the users for a company like Comcrap that they are loosing money due to people watching streaming media when you average out all the people who are paying for internet. After all, not everyone with cable internet use it more than for email and low bandwidth things like that.
I think the bigger issue is that cable companies are loosing money hand over fist for reasons like bad management and loss of viewership.
I for one enjoy being able to watch a show on my time via the internet. Due to the internet, I lowered my cable package from everything to the lowest to just keep my rates on the internet-side of cable at a cheaper price.
THE FCC?!! The organization that wont allow 1 iota of nipple(female) on cable and your trying to tell me “chill da fuck out man, u don kno” (cuz u sound like a fuckin retard in my head)
No good reason huh? Somebody hasn’t been following the negotiations. This is an opinion piece without substance criticizing other opinion pieces without substance. Ouroboros.
Or maybe, just maybe, people are pissed for anther reason.
Were in the Constitution does it give the federal government the right to control anything on the wed, commerce only covers when money changes hands. The courts are going to trash this anyway. Don’t know why anyone is even waisting bandwidth posting about it.
