Facebook to Get Oregon Trail?

You know nostalgia gaming has hit its absolute height when games you used to play in grade school to teach you something are coming to Facebook to help you waste time at work. Yep, Blue Fang Games has decided to bring a couple of Apple IIe classics to the social networking site/timesuck known as Facebook; soon, you'll be giving your friends dysentery and hunting down crooks with punny names in "Oregon Trail" and "Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

These aren't quite straight emulations: since even Flash games have evolved well beyond the graphics and complexity of an '80s Apple machine, and considering you can just grab an emulation of the classic anyway, these have modern touches like experience points. Sadly, "Carmen Sandiego" seems not to have the Rockapella soundtrack, but does have a knockoff animated version of respected thespian Lynne Thigpen.
