There are several actresses up for an unspecified role in “The Avengers”, which we’re all pretending isn’t Maria Hill for some reason, even though it totally is. Also up is the one character who wasn’t a total retard from “Cloverfield”, Jessica Lucas, and some chick from “How I Met Your Mother”, Coble Smoulders (…wait, what?)
Of the three, Baccarin is definitely the best choice. I actually had the pleasure of seeing Baccarin speak at a convention, and she was the single nicest person at a con I’ve ever met. Very polite to fans and genuinely happy to talk about “Firefly”. Also, she’s the only good thing about “V”, so hopefully that counts for something.
