Cocaine Found At NASA Spaceport. Again.

Written by RoboPanda / 03.17.11

Has it already been 14 months since the Discovery shuttle workers. More on that later, but first, just a little bit of history repeating:

NASA officials found 4.2 grams of a white powdery substance on March 7. Initial on-site tests by the police indicated that it was cocaine, but the substance is now undergoing follow-up tests, said Renee Juhans of NASA’s Office of Inspector General (OIG), which is conducting the inspection. [...] Juhans was unable to provide additional details about where the substance was found, or how many employees and contractors are now being drug tested. [SPACE]

After the discovery (wacka wacka) of coke in Discovery’s hangar last year, around 200 employees and contractors were given drug tests, but no one tested positive for cocaine (tigerblood!).  The investigation closed without any arrests or firings.  So if you’re keeping track at home, the jobs where you can still snort coke off various surfaces at your workplace and keep your job at least another year are: shuttle workers, lawyers, whoever greenlights Brenden Fraser movies, and “Two and a Half Men” stars.
