Elizabeth Hurley To Play Wonder Woman's Nemesis

When last we spoke of David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman TV show, they were looking for “ At least they cast Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman, the first news I’ve heard about this project that didn’t make me think NBC and David E. Kelley hate me on a personal level.

Now we know who will be playing the villain in the pilot.  Elizabeth Hurley tweeted this morning, “Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait.”  We’re glad to hear she’s playing the evil villain, instead of a merely chaotic neutral villain, and look forward to her intimidating recreation of her previous villain role in the Academy Award Winning Bedazzled.  Yes that was sarcasm.  I’ve gone past the denial, anger, bargaining, and depression stages of grief, shot right past acceptance and landed in “unrelenting misplaced sarcasm”.  You only have five stages in your grief cycle?  Oh, good for you.
