New Jurassic Park Video Game Footage, 12-Minutes Worth You Say?

Usually the only time I prefer to go back to the year 1993 is when I’m masturbating to dated yearbooks, but I suppose for the sake of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park I can certainly make an exception. I mean, that movie floored me when I first saw it. I kept waking up with bloody noses and night terrors –sheeesh! Anyhow, I think it’s pretty cool that game developer Telltale Games (the same guys who are presently releasing Back to the Future: The Game).

After the jump we’ve got an interview with Telltale Games designer, Joe Pinney, featuring nearly 12 minutes worth of in-game footage from the upcoming release. This particular video features the PC version of the title (being played with a controller, you’ll see), but we can assure you that “yes” the game will also be available on consoles, as well.

In the new title, the events unfold for players roughly halfway through the original film (ahem, when all the fences turn to spaghetti and sh-t goes bad). Players will assume the roles of multiple characters, at the same time, with help from a new in-game picture-in-picture navigation setup. Get this, characters can even die and the game will still journey on. Like Back to the Future: The Game, Jurassic Park will also be released as an episodic title -meaning more episodes, more dinosaur high school drama.

Skip below to check the video. Me, don’t worry about me, I’m going to stay behind and drink one of these broken tranquilizer darts.
