I want to live in the world Vladimir Kush creates. Ships with butterflies for sails? That's a perfectly reasonable thing for a 28-year-old guy to be into, right?
Kush's paintings are playful, visual puns. He combines natural and urban environments, humans and inanimate objects. The pairings are wonderful even when it seems like they shouldn't work.

I actually went to one of his galleries at Laguna Beach and his gallery is an experience itself. I highly recommend anyone who read this post to check out his gallery. Mesmerizing pieces of art.
The illustrations in Goosebumps books were of higher quality when I was 7 years old.
