It looks like whoever came up with the premises of these stories was having the most fun. The adventures they wrote aren't so much adventures as romps. They look like the kind of wild shenanigans that end with cups of hot cocoa and your mom going through your pockets to make sure you didn't try and sneak home a pet frog. Good thing Batman doesn't have a mom! Zing! Orphan humor.
