Avengers Assemble At San Diego Comic-Con

Marvel released seven character posters for The Avengers during San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.  The posters also assemble (ooo, wee see what you did there, Marvel) into a montage of Avengery goodness. The full-sized individual posters (plus a Muppet bonus) are after the cut.  The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Lucas Lee as Captain America.  No, wait, scratch that last one.  It's actually Chris Evans as Captain America.  We only wish the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World crossover photoshopped by Geektress were a reality.

The movie is out May 4th of next year, and we're hoping director Joss Whedon made good on his promise to make it like Glengarry Glen Ross.  ABC. Always. Be. Crimefighting.
