Important Catwoman Stripper News (And Other Batman Updates)

A couple months ago BatmanNews received a tip they didn’t run because they weren’t sure about it.  One part of the tipster’s email claimed Catwoman would steal the Batpod.  When the picture above of Catwoman on the Batpod was released last Friday, BatmanNews revisited that email to see what else it said.  And it is glorious:

Catwoman is apparently one of the most well written characters we’ve seen in these movies so far and she could potentially steal the show the way Heath Ledger did last time. She does some cool stuff in the movie like jumping out of windows and stealing the Batpod. Her back story is that she has a history of abuse and works as a stripper and is also a pickpocket.

WORKS AS A STRIPPER. Thank you.  That’ll do, BatmanNews. That’ll do.

I don’t even care if it’s true.  I just want to say it.  And since we’re talking about this movie anyway, after the jump are a few videos taken at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh during the filming of a scene this weekend.  This first shows some explosions at a “Gotham Rogues” game and the next two videos are two different angles of the same scene.  We get to see Tom Hardy as Bane telling the crowd about the instrument of their liberation, whatever that is.  Maybe it’s a pony.  I’ll name her “Sprinkles”.

In other batnews, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh dressed up their T-Rex statue as Batman to celebrate the filming being done in Pittsburgh (picture at right).  You’ll note Bat-T-Rex doesn’t have a utility belt.  That’s because his tiny arms wouldn’t reach.  And he thinks belts make his tail look fat.  Ooo, miss thing, your fat tail makes your tail look fat.  That slimming black cape is fooling no one.

Did I just use a whole paragraph to call a dinosaur statue fat?  It’s gonna be one of those days.

I hope they improve Bane’s voice in post.  He sounds like Voldemort.
