Evangeline Lilly Wants You To Come Now

Evangeline Lilly is playing a Woodland Elf named Tauriel in The Hobbit, a character created by Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens for these two Hobbit movies. At the premiere of Real Steel, Lilly talked about her role and delivered a couple lines of dialogue in the Elvish language (video below), then abruptly stopped when she seemed to realize she was giving away important dialogue from the film.

According to Lily, she’s been working with a “dialect coach, motion coach, language coach and stunt coach” to get her character down to a science. During her interview for Access Hollywood, she burst out with some key elvish phrases that translate to “Come now” and “The cells are empty.” Who’s in the cell? Did someone escape? [Blastr, emphasis ours]

More importantly, how is it that Evangeline Lilly yelling, “Come now!” in Elvish is not already a default ring tone on my cellphone? Tracfone, you have failed me again. Your cells are empty.

The talking in Elvish starts at 1:30.
