The small town of Wagga Wagga, in New South Wales, Australia, has been faced by twin tragedies.
First, there were the floods, which have displaced residents. Then the spiders started covering everything with webs.
No, seriously. Spiders fleeing the floodwaters have gotten onto any surface they can find that’s dry and have covered it in webs. The entire town looks like the set of “Arachnophobia”. Hit that link for the pictures, but if you hate spiders, you might want to consider looking at, say, some kittens instead.

KILL IT WITH FIRE!
Somehow we stumbled onto a “horrifying bug” theme for the blog today.
The only thing that can save us? Bears with tools.
Giant bugs AND towns overrun with spiders? Jeez. Horror day.
Saw Arachnaphobia last week for the first time since it first came out. I’ve been creeped out ever since. THANKS GAMMA SQUAD!
You are welcome.
