Tim Daly (Wings) voiced Superman for the animated Justice League: Doom DVD released this week, and it appears he’s having a hard time getting out of character. Or at least that’s the premise of the recent episode of Tim Daly and his son Sam’s webseries, The Daly Show. In the episode (below), Sam enlists Nathan Fillion — who has also voiced a superhero — to help his father drop the Superman act. Written and directed by Ben Shelton, the video also stars Michael Rosenbaum and a hammer.
I’m not going to give the whole adorably silly thing away. You’ll just have to watch.

The Michael Rosenbaum appearance just reminds me of how bad Wally West got screwed over in the last few years. *sigh*
No kidding. No kidding. Honestly, it’s like taking “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” at the height of its powers and having a new showrunner suddenly replace the cast with the principles from “Night Court.”
Let’s also not forget the 5 years he voiced Superman in the Paul Dini Superman animated series, plus the other three animated movies. It was a shame his work on The Fugitive prevented him from voicing the character in the Justice League cartoon.
