It's that time of the week where we post a mixed bag of intriguing costumes we spotted recently. Some of it's new; some of it isn't; all of it is worth highlighting.
Are you a cosplayer or cosplay photographer who would like to be featured on Gamma Squad? Upload your photos to our Flickr group to be considered.

Power Girl cosplay is like Sam Adams: Always a good decision.
I find this titillating group of photos simply the breast.
That anyone would CHOOSE to cosplay in that Power Girl costume is proof to me that the many, many, vocal prudes who critique such costumes as sexist are full of shit.
Um…er, thanks, I guess, for putting my Fiona picture up. This is kinda awkward, and as much as I appreciate you liking my costume, could you please take the picture down? I don’t feel comfortable having it anywhere but my personal blog without having been asked for permission to use the image first. I hope you understand.
Okay, it’s down and it should be deleted from our server.
lilprince=jerk.
I think I’m allowed to ask for my own image to be taken down because I’m uncomfortable with people as inconsiderate and pigheaded (oh and sexist, you are a complete idiot if you think your original comment is any sort of argument) as you looking at it. It’s my image. It’s my property. I have every right to ask for it to be removed.
She’s not a jerk. Content owners can always ask to have something removed. It’s not being a jerk when it’s a picture of you or a picture you took.
Well said, Robopanda!
lilprince, Whatever. Calling me pigheaded, inconsiderate and sexist over-qualifies you for the jerk department.
Like I said, lilprince=jerk.
You can go back into lilprince’s log to find their cosplay as Fionna, it’s clearly their property. Please do the right thing and take down the photo.
Can you please take down lilprince’s photo? It’s incredibly rude to post it without permission. Please take it down, it’s the right thing to do.
Seriously, if you’re going to post a bunch of “sexy” cosplay pics for people to ogle at then it’s only right that you ask permission first. In this case you have the consent of neither the subject (lilprince) nor the photographer (me), so it would be appreciated if you removed the pic.
If the cosplayer asks you to take down a picture of themselves then you should! Especially if that cosplayer didn’t give you permission to post it in the first place!
I agree with isharman. Posting a pic of someone without permission is one thing, but if that person then comes forward and specifically asks for that photo to be removed, then you should remove it. Well done lilprince for coming forward!
Please remove Fix-chan’s (lilprince’s) photo. While I’m sure it’s intended to compliment them on a wonderful cosplay, they’ve specifically asked to have it removed. Honour their wishes and do so!
Thank you for removing the picture
It’s much appreciated
You guys could have waited longer than an hour to assume the worst of me. It takes time to notice a comment, verify it’s not some stalker troll trying to get someone else’s photo removed, and then edit the post.
I’m sorry, that was my fault. I just wanted it gone as quickly as possible.
Of course, all that could have been avoided if you just asked people before posting their pics on your website. It’s not hard.
isharman, I’m already making less than my state’s minimum wage on these posts after all the time it takes is added up. Have you ever tried to track down the original version of ten different photos found around the internet, then find working contact information for the owner of the original version, then contact them, then give up and start over again on ten more photos when nobody sees your email in their spam folder?
I assume when someone posts cosplay online they want kudos for their work, but, if someone asks for their content to be removed and they seem legit, I drop everything and comply the second I see their message.
Nice one Robopanda. =)
IN OTHER NEWS…the cat is awesome
Hi, thank you so very much for featuring me! I’m so flattered!
I’ve been reading the comments though, and I have to say, I’m shocked at the number of people abusing others on both sides. It’s perfectly normal to “feature” an image with a link to the original artist and I see no harm in it at all. It’s also perfectly normal to politely ask for said feature to be removed if the original artist wishes – but half a dozen people attacking one person is uncalled for, especially when that person only wanted to showcase some awesome work.
TL;DR: Thanks! And calm down.
^^ What Ardella said.
Also, cutest Power Girl ever?
Robopanda, you’re doing an awesome job with these posts, including credit to photographer and cosplayer when you can – it’s much appreciated! I’m sorry to see that so many people jumped down your throat this time, and pleased to see that you politely did as requested nonetheless. I’m always flattered when you feature my picture, and appreciate the work that goes into finding these awesome cosplays each week
Thank you!
Thanks.
