Tetris is playable on pretty much everything — consoles, computers, handhelds, phones, watches, calculators — and now you can add MIT’s iconic Green Building to its list of supported platforms.
That’s the Green Building to the right. As you can see, the building’s windows are laid out in a rigid grid, which a group of MIT student “hackers” used to create a fully playable building-sized game of Tetris. You can check out a video of this 20-story tall Tetris in action after the jump…
Pretty cool, although I don’t know that I’d actually want to play. I’d be afraid the entire time that getting a Tetris might make the building fall over

The building has nine windows across. Tecnically, Tetris has ten spaces across. This is not regulation, I say.
Would have been better if they found someone that knew how to play Tetris.
And perhaps someone with a real video camera.
It’s MIT. I’m sure they could have thrown a dead cat and hit someone that fit the bill on both counts. It’s almost like they went out of their way to make the coolest sounding video as stupid as possible.
