It was close, really close, but ultimately, “Spock’s Brain” prevailed over “Let He Who is Without Sin” and moved on to the Egregious Eight. But we’re not done with DS9 yet: this time it’s up against a TNG episode better suited to a Harlequin romance novel.

Only in the final season does Beverly Crusher get any character development…and that mostly consists of being so hard up for it she’ll bang a ghost trapped in a candle.

Quark plays a game with some smug jerks, using the DS9 crew as the pieces. Exactly as exciting and original as it sounds.

“Move Along Home” was stupid, but not nearly as awful as “Sub Rosa”. TNG takes this round. I’m looking forward to seeing which episode ends up facing off against “The Magnificent Ferengi” in the final round.
Er… “Profit and Lace”, that is.
Bev Gets Wax Fever
I might be in the minority but I preferred Pulaski as a character more than Crusher. Anything Crusher related is bad,bad,bad.

Let’s say I wanted you guys to make the hard choices.
Do you ever notice how a really bad movie almost always has a gratuitous sex scene right in the middle of it to keep the viewers’ attention. And if I’m not mistaken, “Wax Fever” is the only episode in the bracket that has a gratuitous sex scene right in the middle of it.
But serious, you’ve got to respect Gates McFadden. She knew that this episode was really gonna suck, that she agreed to go to town on herself on Nationwide Syndicated TV. Now that’s dedication you don’t see nowadays.
Are you people kidding me!? Watch Move Along Home again. Its streaming on netflix. Trust me, if you do you’ll all switch you votes.

SubRosa was really bad Trek, but Move Along Home was so stupid and annoying it nearly killed DS9 in season 1. Please watch it again. If you don’t have the urge to break your tv then you’re a better person than I.

I have to say Move Along Home because it was trying to be humorous, I think. Or not. Shit, I can’t even tell anymore, but it was horrible. At least Sub Rosa stuck to one tone…
I gotta go with Sub Rosa… Tried to watch them both again for the tourney – and while I just barely made it through Move Along Home, I just couldn’t inflict any more Wax Fever on myself and had to shut it off.
I also feel confident “Some Like It Quark” will triumph at the end of this round, so we probably haven’t seen the last of our favorite Ferengi just yet.
Bev gives the term ‘fire bush’ an entirely new nuance, but I’m gonna Move Along Home with my vote.
