We’re through the second round, and now, now it’s all about the Egregious Eight. And first up, our first TNG vs. TOS matchup: what’s worse, Wesley Crusher or space hippies?
“Justice”
TNG, Season 1, Episode 8
Just think, one simple rewrite, and the first season would have been so much better.
“The Way to Eden”
TOS, Season 3, Episode 20
Charles Napier’s lowest career moment. Possibly the lowest moment of his life.
Let us know which one is worse in the comments or on Facebook! And brace yourself for Monday: the toughest matchup of the Egregious Eight will be coming.

Justice. Always Justice.
Justice.
The writers of Justice named the planet Rubicun III. Supposed to be like Caesar crossing teh Rubicon, but more like me passing a bad burrito. No Justice, no peace.
Justice aka “Wesley’s Wacky Adventure”
Way to Eden had this Batman feel to it, like it was suppose to be that awful.
You’re Herbert if you don’t vote for the injustice of Justice.
Justice
My vote is for Justice. Sure the space hippies are terrible, but if they would have only killed wesley things could have been so much better. Think about it. Worf would have still been a tier 2 character, tasha yar would have been chief of security and banging Data on the DL. It could have been so much better than it was.
Justice, a thousand times Justice
Who is reading this right now? Is it just us?
People drop me DMs with votes, usually I get between thirty and forty votes that way.
Dan. Just us.
Justice.
I totally got that.
Honest.
Really.
The Way To Eden.
Wow, y’all are a bunch of Herbert’s. I thought for sure Space Hippies would be winning or that it would at least be close. Such is the hate for Wesley.
I see I’m not needed here for this vote. I’ll save my Justice rant against Voyages… Justice will need all the help it can get.
I wouldn’t count out “Spock’s Brain” just yet.
Justice. I hate even thinking about that effing episode.
Holy f*ck. I just noticed that Turnabout’s name has been changed in the bracket. Gracias Danny boy.
As much as I don’t want to be a Herbert, and think Wesley-bashing is all too easy (we should let Wheaton off the hook at the very least), I’m forced to admit I find Justice more painful to watch.
Besides: Eden’s got those great musical numbers!
**hums a few bars of “Stepping Out to Eden”, considers switching vote, then shakes head and stays with Justice**
