We know what audiences thought: “Wrath of the Titans” just took over half of what the remake did as it got bulldozed by “The Hunger Games”. It at least did better than “Mirror, Mirror”, which proves pretty definitively that Julia Roberts can no longer open a movie.
And critics weren’t huge fans either: it’s currently got 25% among critics, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie kinda deserves the scorn. It’s not bad for what it is, but it’s basically “God of War IV” with a slightly more sympathetic Kratos. It is at least better than the abysmal remake that spawned it, and Sam Worthington tries pretty hard to give Perseus something other than “yelling” as an emotion, but if you didn’t catch this in theaters, you won’t have any regrets.
How about you? What’d you think?

I would actually have to watch this movie to comment on it, right? Please refer to our Constitution, eighth amendment.
But I will comment on the poster. The tagline “Feel the Wrath” is quite clever, since the title itself has “wrath” in it. See what they did? This is the power of words.
Meh, I’ll watch it three weeks before the Blu-Ray is released.
This is that God of War movie right?
I saw it, and although I was a huge fan of the first one, I saw Immortals a few months ago, and went in with that in my head when I saw this. The story line felt really weak, and there was too many goofy parts that made no sense. I also would have liked to have seen Zeus get down with Hades in a bigger way. I wasn’t really happy.
