The Dallas Comic-Con went down this weekend in scenic Irving, Texas, and I did my part as an ancillary Gamma Squad reporter to stop by, fail miserably in my attempt to meet Stan Lee and get photos of as many cosplaying types as possible.
Normally my job at UPROXX is to report about sports (both fake and real), but I've proudly stepped in to photograph the costumes at Wizard World Austin and the SXSW Screenburn Arcade. Check those out if you haven't already.
What to look for in this gallery: my adorable friend Chelsea as Misty, pro wrestlers Su Yung and Athena as Poison Ivy and Catwoman respectively, and those amazing Booster Gold and Blue Beetle girls. Whew.

I was promised, funny, sexy, and awesome cosplay’s, but only got funny and awesome. What’s up with that!?
You didn’t find “Gumbo” sexy? Well, okay, but you need to broaden your horizons.
If you weren’t turned on by the Booster and Blue Beetle ladies, I don’t know what to tell you.
I like looking at pics of cosplayers, yet I secretly kind of hate them for one of two reasons that I’m not sure as to which is the correct reason. 1) That they are attention whores. OR 2) I’m jealous that I don’t have the costuming skills to cosplay myself.
Sweet David Arquette cosplay, #3.
um does anyone else really want those beanies in the background? i’d pay top dollar
I think Lex Luthor in number 6 is UFC president Dana White…
That’s what I thought, too. He’s probably still recovering from his surgery for Meniere’s disease (too much bald-time shouting with Joe Rogan, I bet)
Ay dios mio, Trucker Thor! I’ll count that as funny, the adorkable Shy Guy as awesome, and Rule 63 Boostie & Beetle and Phoenix as sexy. This slideshow has adequately delivered on it’s promise. Good jorb.
