As we reported a couple months back, word has been going around that Avatar is no longer going to be a mere trilogy, but a full-on quadrilogy. That word has seemingly been confirmed by none other than Sigourney Weaver.
According to Weaver production begins this fall, and James Cameron will be doing the Lord of the Rings thing and filming all three sequels at once, which seems a bit crazy. Do you really need to worry about keeping production costs down with this series? Cameron could film all three Avatar sequels on the moon with sets made of pure gold and the movies would still be incredibly profitable.
So yup, four Avatar movies — maybe by the end of it all we might actually get a character or two to care about. What’re your thoughts on the upcoming Avatar onslaught?

Disguise yourself as a greased up teenage phillipino boy in a thong and run around James Cameron’s compound until he “catches” you.
Then pull out hidden bowie knife. Stab. Repeat.

fuck it, the first one was preety maybe the next 3 will be preetier…
Yeah, there were still a few things in the first one that *weren’t* blue or purple. Hopefully the sequels address that.
