A few days ago Nintendo unveiled its monstrously huge new handheld, the 3DS XL, but Nintendo isn’t stopping there. Oh no, they plan to push even further into uncharted “holy crap, that’s pretty big for a ‘handheld’” waters by releasing a new 3DS XL version of the Circle Pad Pro.
For those not hip to the Nintendo handheld scene, the Circle Pad Pro is Nintendo’s very questionable solution to the 3DS’ lack of a second slide pad. The Circle Pad Pro is incredibly clunky to begin with — I’m not sure the world is ready for one nearly twice the size.
So yeah, any crazy people planning to buy a 3DS XL and Circle Pad Pro better start their wrist exercises now. Or don’t — just don’t come crying to me when the weight of Nintendo’s upcoming behemoth snaps your hands clean off.

Game boys these days. Two large, colorful screens, one of them touch, that display in 3D. Remember when we were happy with our gamboys displaying two colors? Green and Green.
Jesus. A half-assed design with a hal-assed solution, now supersized!
I really wish that the Vita had a more viable game library.
