It’s fan made. The uploader even says so. Not the real thing.
You’re right. The funny thing is, this was all over the Web as the real thing; it’s incredibly convincing.
A rule of thumb in this situation would be: if it’s not on TrekMovie, it’s probably not real. They’re pretty deep within the butthole of Bad Robot. Is the butthole analogy not working? I think it is.

Man, if this insane female Benedict Cumberbatch fanbase keeps growing like it has, this movie is gonna make Dark Knight levels of cash.

They’re not even done filming! I have a friend working on the set in Utah.
That has NEVER stopped a studio from putting out a teaser like this. Seriously, this is a superb job.
