As we all know, Rush Limbaugh recently said, in a desperate bid for attention, that Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan were liberals.
Once everybody who has ever read an interview with Dixon or Nolan was done laughing, they promptly got to work starting satirical Twitter feeds and putting Mitt Romney's face into Bane's mask. It's all part of a long history of turning Presidents and Presidential candidates into Batman villains. It's just usually people are too lazy to make it anybody other than the Joker. Is it really so much to ask that somebody turn Ron Paul into Calendar Man?
Maybe Romney should be grateful there isn't a Transmetropolitan movie coming out this year, because there's a comparison floating around that's considerably less flattering. Anyway, here are some of the best MittBane (and one BatMitt) 'shops we've found.

you know who else liked to dress up like bane? the psycho that murdered 12 people a couple of hours ago. maybe we could hold off on the bane jokes for a day?
Bane wears a gas mask?
First, he was wearing a standard gas mask, not any sort of Bane mask.
Secondly, you have every right to find this post personally offensive, but if we derail everything we do when nutjobs hurt people, the nutjobs have achieved what they wanted. So no.
bane wears a mask and a vest and im sure that will be a point in the coming days like marilyn manson was. @dan does this work for keeping normalcy? “this massacre was the biggest opening night travesty since episode 1: phantom menace”
Holmes was dressed as the Joker, not as Bane, according to New York police commissioner Ray Kelly.
Again, I’m not trying to say you don’t have a right to be personally offended about any post we make.
That said, I challenge you to find any sort of deliberate joke about the Aurora, CO shootings. If you can find one that directly references the shootings or deliberately makes light of the tragedy, I will happily remove it.
Bane happening to be wearing a mask and a tactical vest will not be considered a direct reference, especially in light of the sequence of events in the shootings. I’m surprised somebody so outraged about this was unaware that the shooter deployed a chemical agent into the theater before entering.
President Romney.
*shudder*
Meh. This isn’t remotely political to me, or even to any of the photos in this article: all of them came from people mocking Limbaugh’s comments. I think nobody really thought much about the fact that Bain and Bane sound somewhat similar until Limbaugh pointed it out in the most insane conspiracy theory way possible.
We need more financial advisors like Bane.
“When your company is…ash, you have my permission to file.”
“Your layoffs must be more severe.”
