The Engineer (Prometheus) with some cute nurses because why not? [via]
Last Friday we brought you a list of our 25 favorite cosplay pictures we'd seen out of San Diego Comic-Con so far. Then, earlier today, we posted 50 pop culture costumes. We didn't include some great comic book cosplay and costumes related to beloved geek franchises like Star Wars in that gallery. Instead we've collected those here. It was worth it to for no other reason than to give props to that ridiculously awesome Prometheus cosplay above. This guy resembles The Engineer so closely I initially thought it was a Prometheus statue on display. Kudos to you, insanely ripped tall dude.
Continue on for 30 more impressive acts of cosplay from San Diego Comic-Con. All sources are credited underneath each picture, and the character being cosplayed is listed underneath the photo or in its file name. Special thanks to Comics Alliance, Uncle Shoggoth, Coming Soon, and Geeks Are Sexy for many of these photos.

I think #16 is Steampunk Huntress. Loving these galleries. Thanks!
Definitely The Huntress.
Fixed. Thanks.
Say Steampunk Huntress really fast and giggle like a 12 year old boy.
Yeah def Huntress
Jesus, that Engineer guy looks even better than the Engineers in the movie. Wow.
I believe the girl labeled as assassins creed is indeed a demon hunter from diablo 3
That’s a good looking Lady Punisher. Given that the Punisher has had a female sidekick in Rucka’s book for like a year now, one would expect more of them.
I think we all know what is getting punished.
There’s something about the lighting in that Engineer picture that makes it look like his eyes are moving.
