Emerald City Comic Con staged the whole Star Wars trilogy as a radio play as part of the festivities last April, and we’ve been waiting for a good time to post it. Since everybody is probably just killing time at work until the boss goes home for the Fourth, now seems as good a time as any.
Especially when it’s a collection of beloved voice actors riffing on said trilogy for ninety minutes.
We’ll spare you any “May the Fourth Be With You” puns: enjoy.

Did they edit out Jar Jar?
I think I’m just gonna go watch The People VS George Lucas on netflix again. And then enjoy my non-special-edition custom up-scaled blu-ray’s of the original trilogy.

It’s the first 2/3 or so of Star Wars (Ep. 4). You should watch it if for no other reason than to see John Dimaggio’s Tracy Morgan impression.
Its not all the shows, but if I ever win one of those huge Lottery jackpot ($500 million), I will see if I can get the voice actors to do the entire 6-logy and release it to the theatres with the movie showing in the background. I’m certain if I can do it for $50 million, I should be able to earn it back in a few weeks.
Your ensuing legal bills may cost more than that…
I know, but I figure with all of the Special Editions, I should be able to get a take of the DVD sales.
I wasnt kidding about those blu rays I have btw.
This kid in Japan made these amazing up-conversions from the laser disc set of the originals, got them from a friend of a friend etc…
So no “special edition” shenanigans, no awkward crappy slapstick with wierd cgi Jabba, Han shoots first like a boss, and Hayden isnt screwing up the lineup at the ewok after-party.
