Yeah, this is a Move game, but dammit, it still looks pretty solid. Basically I’m behind any horror game that actually tries to be atmospheric/scary in 2012.
Not sure how unique this one will be from a gameplay perspective, but it’s certainly got a cool whimsical art style.
There was also some other stuff announced at the show — a new Vita Killzone for instance, but I only feel like writing about the creative colorful stuff today. How about you folks, are you intrigued by Sony’s creative line-up, or are you put off by the lack of cover-based shooting?

Rain and Until Dawn both look like they have alot of potential behind them. Rain’s unique premise could definitely carry it onward to financial success and creative praise. Until Dawn’s atmosphere draws alot from Alan Wake (dark woods, light base mechanic, cabin in the woods etc…) but also feels like a modern horror/thriller movie. When it comes to Move/Kinnect games however I’m always ambivalent about their success and creation in general. Hopefully though, Playstation will be able to pick itself up from the dirt with these titles though.
Rain looks like it could be interesting, but my guess is that title will change as to not allow some people to get confused that it is Heavy Rain.
As for Until Dawn, I was thinking the same thing about it looking similar to Alan Wake. It could be a game I could get behind if it wasn’t for being a Move game. I don’t have a Move and I don’t want a Move, just like I don’t have a Kinect and don’t want a Kinect. I suffer through the Wii’s motion controls because I need my Nintendo games, so one motion control system is enough for me.
