“Heeeey, do either of you guys know J.J. Abrams? His fax machine isn’t working.”
Oh, Scott Bakula — the guy will forever be cool with me due to Quantum Leap, but sadly Enterprise was quite the piece of crap. Granted, Bakula was the best part of Enterprise, but it wasn’t nearly enough.
So uh, yeah, I’m disappointed to report that Scott Bakula wants to be in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies and is really being kind of pathetic about it…
“I love the new film! Are you kidding? They just have to ask. They have my number. I fax it regularly over to his (J.J. Abrams’) office. Is that wrong? Is that pandering?”
When reached for comment J.J. Abrams responded “I…what? I don’t even have a fax machine. Nobody has a fax machine. It’s 2012. Is Scott Bakula just writing my name on a piece of paper and sticking it in his toaster or something?”
Scott, forget Star Trek — focus on finding Dean Stockwell and get to work on a Quantum Leap movie. Oh, and stop sticking copies of your resume in your waffle iron, it’s a fire hazard.

You’re not alone in liking Quantum Leap. I loved it when I was younger. I can still watch it from time to time, and even though I realize now that it is pretty bad, I still like it because my younger self loved it so much.
From time to time I think of ideas for a movie or a new TV Show. They could work too!
To this DAY, whenever I remember that Sam Beckett never got to go back home in the final episode, I get bummed out.
Great… Now I have to go freaking cry…
I grew up on old QL reruns. I remember watching the USA Network in the mid-90′s when all they showed was reruns of shows from the late-80′s to early-90′s. I also think SciFi (I refuse to use their idiotic new spelling) used to show QL reruns around that same time.
I watched that shit when it first came out (because I’m old you see).
IDEA: He plays Paul Blake, quarterback of the Starfleet Academy Armadillos.
WINNER.
But only if the movie also includes Sinbad, Jason Bateman, and Robbert Loggia.
Two posts about Necessary Roughness and no mentions of Kathy Ireland?
I thought “In a Mirror, Darkly” was the best part of Enterprise. Mostly T’Pol and Trip’s midrifts.
