Did that Thanos tease at the end of the Avengers get you all hot and bothered? Hope so, because you’re going to be seeing a lot of the guy. Jim Starlin, the creator of Thanos, recently confirmed the character will not only be in The Avengers 2, but will also play a part in Guardians of the Galaxy.
It’s unknown exactly what role Thanos will be playing in Guardians. Will he be the main villain, or will it just be a cameo? Will he share screen time with other bad guys? Adam Warlock’s evil alter ego Magus has been rumored as a villain, but who really needs him when you have Thanos around?
Personally, my money’s on Thanos being the big bad for both films. I mean, Loki and his feathered mullet managed to carry both Thor and the first Avengers movie, so surely Thanos has enough villainy in him for a couple flicks.

I’m assuming the whole Guardians film will be Thanos being spelled out to the audience…so they dont go into avengers 2 like who the F*ck is this guy…..
i read a lot of comics and know who the guys is, but most that info stops at big enemy w/ rings….
