Jaimie Alexander Is Looking Good On The Set Of ‘Thor 2: The Dark World’

Yesterday, filming for Thor 2: The Dark World was underway at the set in Bourne Woods, Surrey. Chris Hemsworth wasn't there, but we barely noticed since Jaimie Alexander was in full Sif regalia swinging a big sword on horseback. That'll do, Marvel, that'll do. We have more set photos below (SPOILERS).

The scenes being filmed by director Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones) follow the Asgardian warriors as they battle the Mauraders. The set photos include an explosion and a closer look at one of the Mauraders, who resembles Arseface from Preacher if he were a LARPer. Frankly, I don't see why he wouldn't be a LARPer. That dude's ready to take on the world.

Between Jaimie Alexander, Chris Hemsworth, Kat Dennings, Tom Hiddleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, possibly Viggo Mortensen, Idris Elba, Natalie Portman, et cetera, this movie is turning into a bonersplosion checklist.
