The Pigs From ‘Angry Birds’ Are Getting Their Own Game

I’ve always felt kind of bad for the pigs in Angry Birds. They seem like a pretty passive lot really — what have they done to deserve a constant disgruntled avian barrage?

Apparently Angry Birds developer Rovio agrees because the pigs are now getting their own game. Bad Piggies tasks you with creating various wacky vehicles for the pigs, which you then send hurtling through twisty, loopy landscapes. Basically it looks like Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts meets LineRider. I’m not sure if that combination really sounds all that great, but hey, the game will cost a buck, so everyone will buy it anyways.

Doesn’t look mind-blowing or anything, but more exciting than just another Angry Birds expansion/sequel.
