Looks like Cap may be fighting more than Nazis or Russian assassins in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier — his greatest challenge may be controlling his inappropriate boners.
In addition to Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and the return of the underrated Hayley Atwell, these are some of the actresses being considered as Cap’s new love interest — Emilia Clarke (Daenerys from Game of Thrones), Jessica Brown Findlay (Sybil from Downton Abbey), Alison Brie (Internet meme and Uproxx post generator extraordinaire) and Imogen Poots (heh, poots).
I’m sure most of you are uh…pulling for Alison Brie, but I dunno, I kind of have a thing for Lady Sybil. What? Downton Abbey is a good show! Oh Mr. Bates, will you and Anna ever find peace?!

Well, then I’d have to go with Emilia Clarke since Rose Leslie was *also* in Downton Abbey, so she could rope in Lady Sybil as well. As long as Lady Edith didn’t try to get involved.

Also, such an unfortunate name for a girl so hot. She shoulda gone the Alison Brie route and removed the Schermerhorn.
I can’t really imagine Alison Brie in an action movie, unless it’s one of those action movies that come on Cinemax at 1:30 in the morning, I imagine that all the time.
