We still have to wait another day for the first trailer for Iron Man 3, (UPDATE: trailer available here) but we have a teaser for the trailer to over-analyze until then. Yes, trailers now have teasers to let us know there's a trailer. We're through the looking glass, people, and we're excitedly lapping it up and obsessing over every scene in the teaser. The video is at the end, but first we'll break down the Iron Man 3 teaser with pictures.
First we see Tony Stark trying to avoid the press rather than soaking up the attention. Something bad must have happened. We're hoping it involves nubile 18-year-olds and a pool filled with Hawaiian Punch.

Here is someone in the Iron Patriot armor. Also visible in the background is one of the scutters wearing a dunce cap (the little scamp) while pulling one of Stark's helmet out of its broken case. Following this scene is a shot of helicopters flying over water. Bleeding Cool, who saw the Comic-Con footage, offer a context for this helicopter scene. Spoiler: the helicopters are about to shoot Stark's Malibu house with missiles. Sh-t just got real.
Here's our first brief look at Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin. He's got a ponytail, a gun, a silk robe, and a neck tattoo. That's how you know he's a villain (or just incredibly fancy).
Hey, how did they get photographs of stuff I dreamt about?
This appears to be Iron Man saving people who are falling. The Weather Girls warned us this day would come.
