X-Men: First Class was a good start on that path, but practically on the heels of Patrick Stewart all but announcing a full cast reunion in X-Men: Days of Future Past comes word that The Wolverine will have another cameo hinting at this, from a rather unexpected source.

According to some random celebrity gossip site:

It’s all been very exciting and today, the excitement continues as we’ve learnt from a source close to the film that Famke Janssen flew into Sydney last week to shoot a cameo. This news comes after Janssen hinted at the possibility of reprising her role as Jean Grey in an X-Men film while on the press tour for Taken 2.

It’s of questionable veracity, and who knows what this cameo boils down to. Maybe we’re going to relive that terribly staged moment where Wolvie stabs Jean and he’ll see his life flash before his eyes. But, hey, if it leads to a better Days of Future Past, which is being described as X-Men Meets The Terminator, we’ll take it.
