We’ve got plenty of comics coming tomorrow, but these are the three we’re most looking forward to.
Extermination #8
First off, the bad news: This is the last issue of this cleverly written, often-hilarious superhero series.
Which, you know, DAMMIT. Granted that there’s no lack of great comics from Simon Spurrier, as he’s been handling the equally clever and equally hilarious X-Men Legacy, and he looks to be plenty busy beyond that. And at least this will be wrapping up the adventures of Nox and the Red Reaper with a bang. But still, we’re going to miss this book.
Black Beetle: No Way Out #1
Francesco Francavilla’s gorgeous art compliments some writing that nails the pulp atmosphere without being cheesy, which is harder than you might think. Francavilla is mostly known as an artist, but the first Black Beetle story was a lot of fun, taking a grittier tone than one might expect while keeping the more fantastic edge of some of the pulps. We’re looking forward to seeing what he does to expand the character and the universe he resides in.
Savage Wolverine #1

Frank Cho sat down, looked at Wolverine, and decided what his ongoing really needed was Wolverine on the run from being framed, and also fighting dinosaurs. We admit it, we’re looking forward to this as much because of Cho’s gorgeous art as we are Wolverine fighting dinosaurs, but also because this book is pretty much everything our inner eight-year-old wants in a comic.
Looking forward to something else? Take a look at this week’s list and let us know the one book you can’t wait to read.

Extermination – can’t wait to see how this series ends, but I’m also really sad about it ending. I loved how he set it up and was sad to find out that it wasn’t an ongoing.
Batman #16 – from what a few different people have said through Twitter including Snyder himself, it seems this issue is to be the craziest yet. I’m very excited to see what they have in store.
suggestion: do not read the Image title Hoax Hunters. it’s fucking terrible.
I’ve read some of Hoax Hunters, and I enjoy it, but it’s definitely not the first Image series I’d recommend. Love Murder, though. My favorite character design in a long time.
Savage Wolverine… so there are also pirates, ninjas, and boobies?
8 year olds don’t really care about boobies. But seriously, are ther Pirate Ninjas or not?
The book has Shanna the She-Devil and it’s drawn by Frank Cho, so I will be surprised if there is not an abundance of boobies.
I’m interested to see where All New X-Men goes from the last issue.
