Somebody’s Reviving ‘Tunnels & Trolls’ — Dungeons & Dragons’ Ugly Cousin — Via Kickstarter

Everyone knows Dungeons & Dragons was the first modern role-playing game, but not as much is said or remembered about Tunnels & Trolls, the second modern role-playing game.

Tunnels & Trolls was designed to be a more accessible than D&D — both in terms of simplified rules, and just being easier to find and purchase (Dungeons & Dragons was fairly hard to get your hands on in the early days).

Well the original team behind this perennial role-playing runner-up are back, and are looking to fund a new Deluxe Edition of Tunnels & Trolls via Kickstarter. Their goal has already been reached, but you can always toss in a few extra dollars, reserve yourself a copy and help them hit some additional milestones.
